The Chairman of Ogbia Local Government Council, Ogbia town, Bayelsa State Hon. Marvin Ebinyo Turner has emerged winner of the 20th edition of the Nigeria Local Government Chairmen Merit Award following the giant strides recorded in his service to his people.
Hon. Ebinyo Turner who emerged the overall best Local Government Chairman was conferred with an award at an event held at the National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja on Monday, 27th September.
Speaking to journalists after the event, Hon. Ebinyo Turner praised Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri for the huge support to the local government council, adding that the award would encourage him to do more for the people of Ogbia in the remaining years of his administration as the chairman.
