Senator Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo described the judgement of the federal high court as ‘laughable’, stressing that he has the minimum qualification to contest the forthcoming election and that his credentials are before the court.
He promised to seek a redress in court.
He said:
” The judgement is laughable because I have the minimum qualification to contest the election and my credentials are before the Court. I have contested elections over and over. I am a solid senator of the Federal Republic and I wonder how the court will give a judgement that I do not have the minimum qualification to contest the election. In the days to come the truth will come out. It is very unfortunate that they are talking of inconsistencies, inconsistency of what ?
There is room for appeal and I know that judgement cannot stand the test of time. “
