Perewari Victor Pere was the best graduating student at the 158th graduation ceremony of Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, USA.
Perewari Victor Pere who hails from Igbedi, Bayelsa state made a perfect straight ‘A’s average in Computer Science which earned him the valedictorian at the graduation ceremony.

Mr. Perewari, a beneficiary of the state government scholarship programme recently visited the Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson at Government House Yenagoa to say thank you, alongside his father and the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Jonathan Obuebute.
Lincoln University was founded in 1854 as America’s first degree-granting Historically Black College and University, or HBCU. Originally chartered as Ashmun Institute, it was re-named Lincoln University in 1866 in honor of President Abraham Lincoln.
Nigeria’s first president Nnamdi Azikiwe is also a product of the university.
